Drents Museum De Buitenplaats
In 2024, Museum De Buitenplaats has become a fully-fledged part of the Drents Museum in Assen.
The De Buitenplaats ensemble in Eelde is characterized by the 20th-century museum pavilion and permanent garden and the 17th-century Nijsinghhuis with murals of the Northern Figuratives. Het Drentse Landschap (the Drenthe Landscape Foundation) owns the ensemble and manages the land and buildings.
